The body knows before the mind knows.

All the sensations that arise in my body, both inside and outside of my awareness, are keepers of ancient wisdom. 

The shortness of breath, the throat’s tightness, the queasy stomach, the body tremble. 

I know my body’s unique language around fear. 

Fear is the body’s most ancient ally. 

She has been with us since the beginning. 

And she will be with us until the end. 

Fear can be a demon or a sacred adversary.

An unwieldily companion or a formidable friend. 

A powerful force that can either paralyze us or liberate our full potential.

 She the head of our Queen’s guard, but she is not the ruler of our Kingdom. 

Her one, important job is to keep us alive. 

She is to be respected, but she’s not in charge.

Ask fear how she’s served your ancestors. 

Ask fear how she’s served you. 

Ask fear how she wants you to be brave. 

Her answers will show you the story of the warrior spirit in your lineage. 

Her answers will uncover the warrior within you.
